Lisa M. Nyuli was licensed in 1989 and focuses her practice in all areas of family law.  Lisa is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, and has been trained in mediation, Collaborative Divorce and Parenting Coordination.  She is frequently appointed as a guardian ad litem in Kane County.

In the legal community, Lisa has served in all leadership capacities, including as President for the Kane County Bar Association, the Kane County Bar Foundation, and the Illinois Bar Foundation. She also served on the Board of Governors for the ISBA for two terms, was chair of the CLE committee of the ISBA, and is a member of the Family Law Section of the ISBA.  She has previously served on the Judicial Advisory Polls Committee of ISBA, and was chair of that committee, and was the Chair of the Solo and Small Firm Conference.  Lisa has served several terms on the ISBA Assembly.  She is a frequent CLE presenter for the ISBA, AAML, and the KCBA.

She received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois and Juris Doctor from Northern Illinois University College of Law.  She received the Alumnus of the Year Award from NIU College of Law in 2005, the Pro Bono Award from the KCBF in 2006, the ISBA Board of Governors Award in 2019, and ISBA Presidential Commendation in 2022.   She has been chosen by her peers as a Leading Lawyer and as a Super Lawyer.  Each year beginning in 2023, Lisa has been chosen by Super Lawyer as an Illinois Top 50 Woman Lawyer in Family Law.

Lisa is a proud, life-long resident of Kane County and has given back to the community serving as a board member and past president of Family Counseling Service in Aurora, Illinois, as a member of the St. Charles Breakfast Rotary Club, and as a volunteer for the Lawyer in the Library Program at the Gail Borden Library in Elgin, Illinois.
